The human species has backed itself into a corner by creating a dangerously divided world based on separation, fear, greed, exploitation, competition, domination and war. We now face an escalating existential “metacrisis” of global proportions.

THE SOLUTION

The solution involves a profound awakening – an expansion in individual and collective worldview, an upward shift in fundamental assumptions about the nature of reality, and an unprecedented programme of radical collaboration and restorative justice.

Connie and Andrew (a.k.a Cameron/Baxter Films, LLC) are traveling the world in these challenging times, asking the question: how is humanity going to rise above the existential “polycrisis” or “metacrisis” that we have created for ourselves? This website focuses on our upcoming sequel to our 2007 film IN SEARCH OF THE FUTURE: What Do The Wise Ones Know?

Can our endangered species wake up, rise up, unite and embark on an unprecedented campaign of radical collaboration and co-create a desirable future for our species and the rest of the world? Does the term “homo sapiens” carry a clue, perchance? Are we sapient, yet?

We began filming brief statements from some of the world’s leading visionary thinkers in the spring of 2023. First stop, Santa Fe, New Mexico and then Sedona, Arizona, where an event called “Igniting the Holomovement” was laying the groundwork for some world-changing programs. Next adventure, California, followed by an extended East Coast journey in the fall, then back to our home base in Colorado to prepare for the Australia trip in early 2024.

The finished film will introduce you to over a hundred extraordinary human beings, each of whom offers a unique gem of wisdom. Woven together into a beautiful, hope-inducing tapestry, these inspiring gems will paint a compelling picture of a safe, beautiful, abundant new world, free of greed, fear and violence. Can we do it? YES WE CAN!

Patrick McCollom

Patrick, creator of the Peace Violin (pictured) is an extraordinary human being! He has received the Mahatma Gandhi Award at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. in 2010 for the advancement of religious pluralism, the Ralph Bunche International Peace Award in March 2016 during the UN Conference on the Status of Women, and much, much more. A Hollywood film about his life is in production.

Uncle “Moogy” Sumner

As an Aboriginal leader, South Australian Parliamentary Representative and artist, Uncle Moogy’s work seamlessly connects performance, culture, people and Country. He is a world-renowned cultural ambassador for Ngarrindjeri arts, crafts and traditional culture, at the same time standing strong as a defender of the environment.

Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati

Sadhviji is a renowned spiritual leader, social activist, motivational speaker and the author of the #1 bestseller Hollywood to the Himalayas. Connie shared a panel with Sadhviji at the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago, where Andrew took this picture.

Here is a brief sample of what to expect from this film. When we departed for Australia on February 19th, we had already filmed about seventy clips with a diverse collection of extraordinary human beings all over the USA. There is much more to come, but this little “teaser” will give you a a preview. Let us know your thoughts, please. Once we return to the US in mid-May, we will put together a “Down Under Teaser.”

After a truly wonderful three months in Australia, where we were invited to two large indigenous corroborees (sacred dances) and the 50th anniversary celebrations of the discovery of the 42,000 year-old remains of Mungo Lady and Mungo Man, members of an ancient and sophisticated Australian culture, we departed from Sydney on May 10th with almost 40 interviews in the can, ten with Aboriginal Elders, the Original Custodians of the land.
